Duplo launches DC-516 slitting machine

Duplohas launched a new concept for finishing in print, the DC-516 a slitter that adapts to specific tasks at the time of production. Aimed at the high production of business cards (but not exclusively), the new duplo slitter Duplo DC-516 has a high capacity feed tray and a stacker with automated separation of jobs to maintain constant productivity without stops, which makes it ideal for cutting business cards or postcards. |
The DC-516 comes with both modules, cutting and creasing and can apply up to 30 cuts, 30 slits and 10 perforations per sheet. In addition, there is an optional additional module that allows the high production of finishing cards and solves the seasonal peaks of demand or the bottlenecks of day to day production.
The main demand can be refining and cutting to make business cards. But the additional options can convert the DC-516 into, for example, a credential capable of making one sheet split on both sides in a single step.
You can also produce a cover for a perfectly bound book, brochure or triptych. In the same way, the additional options allow to perform a wide range of finishing tasks such as split, semi-cut and perforated, this being able to be selective throughout the length and width of the sheet.
