Durst reopens production facilities

Durst is resuming production at its facility in Lienz in Austria and the company’s headquarters at Brixen in Italy will partially reopen for production. The Italian digital large-format printer manufacturer shut down its production facilities last month following the increasing outbreak of coronavirus epidemic across the country and one of the employees at the facility of its headquarters was tested positive of the fatal COVID-19 virus. The resumption of productions at the company’s facilities at Lienz and Brixen were decided with strict precaution as staff will wear masks and highly protective suits.

Christoph Gamper, CEO, Durst, in a video message said “So that all the employees who are back in the factory can produce in a very very safe way, we have taken all precautions necessary to guarantee a safe environment. I will be there to make sure you are safe”.
