Canon Europe announced the launch of the entry-level imagePRESS C170 Series, allowing businesses to explore creative printing in-house.
The new series prints at speeds upto 70ppm, A4 size in colour and 80ppm in black and white. The printer has capability of taking media size upto 1300mm in length and use of media upto 220gsm auto duplex and 350gsm manual at 2400x2400dpi resolution. It can handle scanning upto 240ipm A4 size.
Like the imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX models, the imagePRESS C170 Series offers security features designed to help users safeguard sensitive information, ensure employee and customer privacy, and assist in regulatory compliance in high-end office and light production environments. Once activated, the McAfee Embedded Control feature helps block the execution of unauthorised applications through intelligent whitelisting.
For further flexibility the devices can support gloss, silk, plain and textured media, as well as delivering a large range of in-line professional finishing for versatile and creative outputs.
