D N Mitra Lab Pvt Ltd has invested in a HP Indigo 15K Digital Press at its facility in Ranaghat, Nadia, a first in West Bengal.
With the new installation, D N Mitra Colour Lab aims to strengthen the business by venturing into big size albums, light packaging, gift boxes, wedding invites, sheetfed labels, and personalized amateur photo books and becomes the only Photo colour lab in entire West Bengal and eastern part of India with a high-definition digital press.
Somnath Mitra, Managing Director, D N Mitra Lab Pvt Ltd. said, “Understanding the limitation of toner devices, we partnered with HP to invest in HP Indigo presses to cater quality printing needs in photo printing as well as the premium segment of high-end photo printing which has resulted in increasing the volumes simultaneously. In the past three years, we have seen tremendous growth in terms of requirement for high quality printing jobs in West Bengal and other neighbouring states. To maintain & fulfil this growth momentum with changing requirements of the business, we decided to invest in HP Indigo 15K Digital Press.”
HP Indigo 15K digital press also allows to print super fine Photo applications using a range of media in different sizes to produce a wide variety of wedding/travel/professional photo albums. Equipped with HP Indigo’s liquid electrophotography (LEP) technology, the digital press produces crisp and attractive images, smooth vignettes with a very thin ink layer that gives uniform gloss between the ink and substrate.
