Highcon Systems Ltd announced an innovative portfolio lineup for drupa 2024, strategically
targeting the rapidly expanding segments of paperboard packaging. Recognizing the
evolving needs of a global market characterized by a surge in demand for smaller production batch sizes, swifter delivery times, heightened sustainability measures, and elevated
customer experiences, the company's latest portfolio represents a significant advancement.
With a primary emphasis on productivity, efficiency, and quality, Highcon's new lineup aligns
seamlessly with its overarching strategy to propel digital die cutting into the mainstream. By
prioritizing these key pillars, Highcon aims to meet the evolving demands of the market while
driving forward the adoption of digital die cutting technology on a broader scale.
The newly unveiled portfolio lineup from Highcon Systems Ltd encompasses cutting-edge
solutions tailored to meet the evolving demands of the packaging industry:
For Folding Carton: The Highcon Beam 3, complemented by the optional new Beam Writer
for offline writing of DART foils, revolutionizes the production process. This advanced system
enables customers to achieve a remarkable increase in productivity, with around 50% more
output per shift compared to its predecessor, Beam 2. Furthermore, the Beam 3 ensures
consistently higher quality output, elevating standards in folding carton production.
For Corrugated Packaging and Display:
The Vulcan1: This groundbreaking next-generation system, currently in development,
introduces a sheet size of 1.4 x 1.7 meters (55" x 66"), significantly expanding the
capabilities of digital die cutting in mainstream corrugated production. The Vulcan1 promises
to unlock the full potential of digital die cutting, ushering in a new era of efficiency and
innovation.
Upgrade to the Highcon Beam 2C: Highcon introduces an upgrade to the Beam 2C,
delivering up to 50% enhanced productivity when paired with the optional Beam Writer. This
upgrade is strategically designed to cater to the short- and medium-run corrugated market,
particularly targeting point-of-sale (POS) and web-to-pack applications. By offering improved
productivity and versatility, the upgraded Beam 2C further solidifies Highcon's position as a
leader in the corrugated packaging segment.
With these cutting-edge solutions, Highcon Systems Ltd continues to push the boundaries of
digital die cutting technology, empowering customers to achieve unprecedented levels of
