Color 8 Company, based in Greater Noida (Delhi-NCR), is making significant advancements
in label printing with innovative approaches and a cutting-edge machine. The company has
elevated its label printing capabilities with the addition of the Ricoh Pro C7500, a state-ofthe-
art and highly versatile digital production press featuring a 5th Color Station.
Mayank Singh, Proprietor of Color 8 Company says, “Addition of this flexible digital
production press to our facility has empowered us to benchmark new quality and innovation
in label printing. Our production facility is equipped with a complete portfolio of machines,
comprising a 4-colour Flexo roll label printing press, Xerox Versant 180 digital production
press and a string of finishing equipment including cutting plotter and others. However, we
have gained a new approach to adding captivating textures and effects to label prints using
the 5th Color Station of Ricoh Pro C7500.”
The RICOH Pro C7500, an upgrade from its predecessor, the Ricoh Pro C7200x, was
introduced to the Indian market by Monotech Systems last year. This press stands out with
its 11-color printing capability, including traditional CMYK and a 5th Color Station that
supports toners for white, gold, silver, neon pink, neon yellow, clear, and invisible red,
allowing for enhanced effects and unique elements in printed materials.
Singh shared that label printing is the cornerstone of their business, accounting for
approximately 90 percent of their overall activities, with only a small portion dedicated to
commercial printing and other ventures. He emphasized that the label printing market thrives
on innovative ideas, which often remain unrealized without the support of advanced
machinery like the Ricoh Pro C7500.
Today, they are focused on creating striking label products by incorporating specialty printing
techniques, such as glossy, matte, or glitter finishes. By combining print layers with unique
textures, they are able to produce eye-catching results—a feat now made possible thanks to
the capabilities of the Ricoh Pro C7500.
This machine was supplied and installed by Monotech Systems, a leading global provider of
printing and packaging solutions. |
