Screen Print India pushed to new dates in December

Messe Frankfurt announced new dates for the first New Delhi edition of Screen Print India. The event will now be held from 17-19 December, 2020 at the India Expo Mart along with Gartex Texprocess India.

According to industry experts, the label and package printing industry will witness a strong growth in the coming months as there will be a surge in disposable and flexible packaging, which are now being considered more hygienic due to limited handling. The rise in food delivery and takeaway services is expected to further drive demand for disposable and flexible packaging.

Making its debut in Delhi NCR alongside Gartex Texprocess India 2020, the event will bring latest advancements and machinery in sectors like textile printing, screen printing, digital and sublimation under one roof. Leading manufacturing brands will conduct live demos of their latest technological offerings to potential business visitors and traders during the three-day event. In the present situation, the exhibition will play a critical role in bringing together key industry players for knowledge-exchange sessions on topics related to the graphics industry, and aims to provide exhibitors and visitors with the latest trends.

In one of the webinars focused on “Embracing change in current business models to stay relevant”, Dharminder Biharie, CEO, BizzModell emphasised that: “in the post lockdown era, the screen and digital printing industry will see a comfortable growth as there will be an increase in demand for food packaging and labelling manufacturers, especially in metro cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and others.”

Screen Print India 2020 will also host Screen Print Excellence Awards to honour path-breakers and technology inventors within the screen printing industry. The awards will also feature a special “SPI Sample Gallery” showcasing award winning pieces of screen printing excellence. .
