ProPak India 2020, originally scheduled for 8-10 December 2020 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi will now take place from 30 September – 2 October 2021 at Bombay Exhibition Center (BEC), Mumbai. The decision was taken by the organisers, Informa Markets in India after discussions with the key industry stakeholders, partners and the local government.
In a press note issued by the organisers, Sameer Mithia, Portfolio Director at Informa Markets said, “We believe that the new dates will allow more time for normality and confidence to return to the marketplace and provide all-around better conditions for exhibitors and visitors to engage. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused. In the meantime, we will be launching additional communications and digital opportunities to engage packaging and processing industries, and to keep you and the industry up-to-date leading up our 2021 event date”.
The press release also mentioned that Informa has developed a detailed set of enhanced measures to provide the highest levels of hygiene and safety at its events, providing everyone with reassurance and confidence they are participating in a safe and controlled environment. ProPak India 2021 will be organised in accordance with Informa’s AllSecure health and safety standards.
