World Corrugated Awards 2021 have now been announced for nominations.
Established in 2019, the awards to acknowledge and reward the pioneering design, marketing, management and society responsibility case of the year to identify the teams and individuals who have made prominent contributions to the development of global corrugated industry.
Organized by Reed Exhibitions, backed by the world’s most prestigious and comprehensive industry associations and world-leading brand owners, the World Corrugated Awards will be celebrated alongside SinoCorrugated 2021.
The World Corrugated Awards 2021 is divided into three categories, namely Innovation, Enterprise Management and Social Value with a total of eight awards:
The Innovation category covers Design Innovation Award, Material Innovation Award and Application Innovation Award. In the Corporate Management category focus is on New factory Planning Award, New Generation Professional Manager Award and Risk Management and Control Award.
The Social Value Awards include The Environment Friendly Contribution Award and Humanism Practice Award.
The first round of voting will take place around mid to end May via online voting open to the public and executives working within the corrugated and packaging industry to choose the first round of Semi-finalists, top 3 of each category.
The Top 3 cases with most of the votes in each category will receive the second onsite voting alongside SinoCorrugated 2021 on July 14th 2021 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) at Shanghai, China in the second round. The winners will be unveiled at the red-carpet gala ceremony on July 16th 2021.
In a press release issued by the organisers said, “In the context of the transformation, upgrading and development of China’s corrugated packaging industry, we expect that the “World Corrugated Awards” will attract more outstanding carton enterprises and individuals to actively participate, share their growth and success stories with us and showcase their true competence on the annual award arena of global corrugated industry”.
“We also cordially hope that this mega event can help carton manufacturers to build global awareness and establish their footprint on the world stage of the packaging and printing the endorsement of world- industry with zero cost”.
