EFI’s theme for drupa ‘The Imaging of Things’

EFI’s participation at Drupa will focus on the theme “The Imaging of Things” - print on everything, even on substrates and materials you’re not thinking about today. EFI has developed breakthrough technologies for the manufacturing of signage, packaging, textiles, ceramic tiles, and personalized documents, with a wide range of printers, inks, digital front ends, and a comprehensive business and production workflow suite that transforms and streamlines the entire production process, increasing your competitiveness and boosting productivity.

On the Superwide Inkjet Solutions, EFI will present best ideas on printing on thinner substrates, pre-decorating 3D objects, generating more revenue, and keeping more of the revenue you earn! Visitors will see the largest portfolio of green LED printers in the industry and learn how they can open up new markets with new substrates, lower running costs, and propel their business to new levels of success. The Fiery Digital Print Servers section will showcase groundbreaking new innovations that can increase staff productivity and achieve better quality results from your printer, in more markets, than ever before.

EFI will launch a single pass press for corrugated packaging at drupa, which it claims will offer a significantly lower purchase price than rival systems. It will be based on a new aqueous UV ink technology, which is enabled in part by its acquisition of UK-based colourant specialist Rialco. The company will present the new Publication Suite, Corrugated Suite and Midmarket Suite for Superwide format in action. In addition, new certified workflows and functionality will be added to the Enterprise Commercial Suite, Packaging Suite and Midmarket Suites for commercial and digital customers.
