Scodix to debut enhancement press for folding

Scodix, the leading provider of digital enhancement solutions for the graphic arts industry, will demonstrate its comprehensive product portfolio, including a new digital enhancement platform and additional applications Scodix will launch the new Scodix E106 digital enhancement press for the folding carton printers and converters. The B1 format enabling ultra-fast production (up to 4,000 sph) the press makes medium to short run lengths viable that were previously unachievable. The new Scodix E106 extends the capabilities of Scodix Ultra Series and Scodix S Series, using proven technology to deliver digital enhancement capabilities. Other than the new digital enhancement press and innovative new applications from Scodix, the company will also demonstrate its product portfolio – including the Scodix Ultra™ Pro™ Digital Enhancement Press with Foil station and the Scodix S Series Digital Enhancement Press. The Scodix Ultra Series is the most productive presses in the Scodix portfolio, with the widest variety of enhancement effects. Compatible with offset, laminated sheets and digital print, the presses process a variety of substrate weights and thicknesses up to B2+ size, with minimal setup. The Scodix Foil Station, an optional module that runs in-line with the Scodix Ultra Pro Digital Press, delivers unmatched foil enhancement capabilities including high gloss, embossed and a variety of densities. The Scodix S Series uses Scodix SENSE™ to produce brilliant, high quality products with tangible dimensions, the S Series delivers myriad applications including folders, brochures, labels, calendars, photo albums and much, much more. Being shown for the first time anywhere are two new digital enhancement effects: Scodix Crystals: Replacing the manual placement of chaton, costume jewelry, or crystals on products such as greeting cards and brochures, Scodix Crystals adds a colourful and reflective sparkle. Scodix Cast&Cure: Empowering Scodix Foil Station users, Scodix Cast&Cure creates a high-impact 3D holographic effect, bringing a whole new dimension, and value proposition, to their print project.
