Nippon Color will launch the VD330 digital label die-cutter, a versatile machine designed to
optimize label production workflows with its features in unwinding, laminating, half-cutting
(up to four cutting heads), matrix removal, slitting, and rewinding/sheeting. A standout
feature is its automated job changeover, powered by AI technology: the integrated CCD
camera scans the mark, reads the job number, and seamlessly transitions between jobs
without operator input. This automation significantly enhances productivity, enabling digital
label printers to deliver a fully digital workflow to their customers.
Equipped with up to four cutting heads, the VD330 prioritizes speed and productivity, with
the head spacing automatically calculated and adjusted for each job. This feature eliminates
manual adjustments, optimizing performance. The machine is available in both roll-to-roll
and roll-to-sheet configurations, catering to diverse production needs.
Five VD330 digital label finishers have already been installed across India. Current users
include label converters focused on short-run digital printing, as well as flexo-based
converters who benefit from the efficiency of a digital finishing solution. |
