NEW ON THE BLOCK
OneVision unveils first software update in 2025

OneVision Software has launched its first major software update of the year, version 25.1, delivering a host of powerful features that cater to the growing demands of automated and connected print production environments. Developed in close collaboration with customers, the new release focuses on boosting workflow speed, accuracy, and intelligence.

A standout enhancement in the update is automated job ticket conversion. By enabling automatic conversion of imported CSV files into job tickets, users can now start print jobs instantly eliminating the need for manual data handling and reducing turnaround times.

The update also introduces manual approval enhancements, allowing operators to view document previews directly within job instructions. This enables easier side-by-side comparison of job files and streamlines approval workflows for greater control over print quality.

Another key addition is a new AI-powered OCR module integrated into the normalization process. This module extracts text from images and scanned documents, outputting it as structured data—ideal for automated processing of legacy or physical documents.

Recognizing the importance of bridging analog and digital processes, OneVision continues its push toward fully connected production with the expansion of its ‘Stations’ feature. This function integrates manual steps and non-digital machinery into the workflow, offering real-time feedback, improved tracking, and detailed work instructions to reduce human error.

“With Release 25.1, we’re empowering printers to operate smarter, faster, and with more flexibility,” said a OneVision spokesperson. “Our focus on automation and intelligent tools reflects the industry's shift toward more agile and digitally connected production.”

As digital transformation accelerates across the print industry, OneVision remains committed to delivering scalable solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce touchpoints, and enable end-to-end workflow control.
