Parshvi Graphics installs India’s first Atexco Vegapress 660C HD

Insight Communications has successfully installed India’s first Atexco Vegapress 660C HD at Parshvi Graphics in Ghaziabad, marking a major milestone for the country’s publishing and printing industry.

The group of Parshvi Graphics and Kamal Sons, sister companies established in 2002, for printing and packaging solutions, is driven by a leadership trio Anuj Jain, Founder and Promoter of Parshvi Graphics, Karan Gupta, Founder and Promoter of Kamal Sons and Anchit Jain, Director at Parshvi.

Expressing his views at the launch event Anuj Jain said, “We are truly excited to embark on this new journey with the Atexco Vegapress. As a market leader in packaging, this advanced press now enables us to expand into short-run book printing for publishers across India. It opens up a world of new applications for us, from customized paper bags for our packaging division to textile inserts, bespoke packaging, on-demand books and magazines, OMR sheets, Direct Mail, and much more. With its ability to handle paper from 40 gsm to 200 gsm, we have the flexibility to experiment and deliver innovative solutions to our customers.”

The Atexco Vegapress 660C HD is a state-of-the-art inkjet press capable of handling paper reels up to 660 mm wide. With 48 print heads, it achieves impressive print speeds of up to 150 meters per minute and produces vibrant results on both coated and uncoated paper. An integrated cutting and slitting unit enables the production of fully finished book blocks ready for binding, significantly streamlining the production workflow.

Ajay Aggarwal, MD & CEO at Insight Print Communications commented, “We are witnessing a clear shift of offset printers towards advanced webpress inkjet technology, and partnering with Parshvi for this milestone installation is a moment of pride for us. The Atexco Vegapress 660C HD is the first of its kind in India, and with Parshvi’s vision, we look forward to exploring many applications beyond just books and publishing. This marks our 15th Vegapress installation in India, reaffirming our position as the market leader, powered by our strong application expertise and dedicated service team.”

Historically, high running costs have limited the broader adoption of inkjet technology. However, rapid advancements in recent years have addressed these concerns, making high-speed inkjet a viable and efficient solution. With the Atexco Vegapress, the crossover point between offset and inkjet production is now around 2,000 copies—making it ideal for print-on-demand applications. This development represents a pivotal shift for the industry and reinforces Insight’s leadership in delivering future-ready, innovative printing solutions.

“I first came across this press at Drupa and was truly impressed by what it could do. After seeing it run in China, I was convinced this is the future of printing. I knew we had to be the first to bring it to India and stay ahead of the curve,” added Anchit Jain.

“Our grand launch event marks a new chapter in the printing journey of Kamal Sons and Parshvi Graphics. Insight has been an exceptional partner throughout, from evaluating the press to installation and now training our team. We look forward to strengthening this partnership further and continuing to serve the industry with the very best,” comments Karan Gupta.
