Sonipat, Haryana-based Wonder Pac has installed an HP Indigo 6K digital press,
strengthening its capabilities in premium label and packaging production across a range of
high-growth industries.
The investment was driven by a pronounced market shift toward shorter print runs, faster
turnaround times, variable data printing, and multiple SKU management, demand patterns
particularly evident among FMCG, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and food brands.
Dr Minakshi Mittal, Managing Partner of Wonder Pac, said the HP Indigo 6K stood out for its
print quality, production flexibility, and ability to handle complex label requirements with
precision. “The press offers near offset-quality printing with outstanding colour consistency,
sharp text reproduction, and excellent substrate compatibility, which makes it ideal for
premium label applications,” she said.
The ability to print variable QR codes, barcodes, serialised data, and multiple artworks in a
single run was a significant differentiator, Mittal noted, alongside the press’s compatibility
with a wide range of substrates including pressure-sensitive labels, shrink sleeves, and
short-run packaging applications.
Wonder Pac is now targeting sectors including food and beverages, pharmaceuticals,
personal care, nutraceuticals, and specialty consumer brands, all of which are increasingly
demanding regional variations, product traceability, and strong shelf appeal.
Mittal described the installation as a strategic step toward building a stronger presence in the
premium label segment. “We believe smart packaging and personalisation will become
increasingly important in the coming years, and with the HP Indigo 6K, Wonder Pac is wellpositioned
to deliver innovative, data-driven, and high-impact label solutions that add value
beyond conventional packaging,” she said.
