Gurugram-based Kridwinn Innovations has announced a significant milestone for its Digimac
Series inkjet print-on-demand presses, with over 10 units installed across India in less than a
year and more than 250 million impressions printed to date.
The Digimac Series is available in 440 mm and 660 mm web widths and is built for highvolume
production environments. The presses deliver speeds exceeding 100 metres per
minute and output of over 120,000 A4 impressions per hour, with print resolution up to 1,200
dpi and full CMYK colour output. Target segments include book and publishing, transactional
printing, and security printing.
A key part of the platform’s market appeal is its running cost structure. Kridwinn says CMYK
printing on the Digimac Series costs as low as 6–9 paise per A4 impression, with
monochrome output at around 1.5 paise, cost levels the company says translate into faster
returns on investment for print service providers. The presses also feature built-in workflow
automation to minimise manual intervention, alongside a modular, energy-efficient design
that allows operators to scale production without significant additional floor space.
Dinesh Thakur, Director Marketing at Kridwinn, said the growing installation base reflects the
platform’s real-world performance. “With a rapidly growing installation base and millions of
impressions printed, we are proud to support our customers in achieving higher productivity,
faster turnaround, and superior print quality. As the industry shifts towards digital and printon-
demand solutions, we remain focused on innovation, reliability, and cost efficiency to
empower printers across diverse segments,” he said.
Kridwinn, which brings over 20 years of inkjet technology experience, has built a portfolio of
digital printing solutions aimed specifically at the demands of the Indian print market.
