Mumbai-based Arty Labels has installed a PRPC 330 UV digital inkjet label printing and
finishing system at its facility, supplied and installed by Packnology. The addition brings spot
UV, foiling, varnishing, and die-cutting capability together in a single pass, without the need
for lamination.
The compact press prints in WCMYK plus varnish across a range of substrates including PP
white, PP silver, PP clear, PE white, and PE clear, with integrated digital die-cutting and
slitting completing the inline workflow. Designed for short-to-medium-run label production,
the system is engineered to be managed by a single operator, making it a practical addition
for label converters looking to expand their embellishment capabilities without a significant
increase in staffing or floor space.
Nilesh Patel, Director of Arty Labels, said the installation has meaningfully expanded the
business’s finishing capabilities. “After the installation of this digital inkjet label printing and
print enhancement machine, we have enormously enhanced our spot UV and foiling jobs.
This digital inkjet press can outstandingly do spot UV and foiling without any lamination. It is
a machine with a small footprint that effortlessly handles big jobs,” he said.
Arty Labels serves customers across the pharmaceutical, garment, jewellery, and FMCG
sectors, producing labels, rolls, ribbons, and tags on a fleet that also includes flexographic
presses.
Brijesh Puri, founder of Packnology, highlighted the system’s versatility and the company’s
commitment to supporting customers as their volumes grow. “The PRPC 330 UV is made for
multiple tasks in one system, which a single operator can manage easily. As our clients’
production volumes grow, we provide a seamless upgrade path to advanced Haotian
systems,” he said.
