Madurai-based Hello Graphics has installed a Canon imagePRESS V800 digital colour
production press, strengthening its in-house printing capabilities and enabling the shop to
handle a wider range of media and applications for its diverse customer base.
Founded around 15 years ago by TC Sathiya Narayanan, Hello Graphics is a family-run
operation now supported by his father TV Chandrasekaran and brother TC Lakshmi
Narayanan. The shop serves walk-in customers and businesses across Madurai, producing
everything from business cards and vouchers to posters, stickers, labels, letterheads, and
LED signs.
The iPR V800, installed in March 2026, operates at 80 A4 pages per minute with a resolution
of 2,400 x 2,400 dpi, handling media from 52 gsm to 350 gsm. Its compatibility with
unconventional substrates, including envelopes, synthetics, coated and textured papers, and
long sheets up to 1,300 mm, has expanded the shop's ability to deliver premium, varied
output without outsourcing.
Sathiya Narayanan said the press has met all of the shop's current production requirements
and surpassed alternatives in its class. "Printing speed, quality print outputs, and media
versatility of iPR V800 finally enable us to deliver what exactly our customers want in terms
of textures, colours, and innovations," he said, adding that customer response to the output
quality has been positive since installation.
The Canon imagePRESS V800 is the shop's first machine from Canon India. Sathiya
Narayanan indicated that further investment in Canon technology is likely as the business
grows, citing strong aftersales support as a key factor in the decision.
