Edify Printech India has strengthened its digital printing portfolio by partnering with
Shenzhen Yintech to introduce the C-440 Mini four-colour inkjet print-on-demand (POD)
press to the Indian market. The company has also completed the first installation of the
press at Sharp Digital Prints in Naraina, New Delhi, marking the commercial debut of the system in the country.
Designed for short-run commercial printing, variable data jobs and on-demand book
production, the rotary inkjet C-440 is aimed at print service providers seeking an affordable
entry into high-speed inkjet production. Edify Printech will provide nationwide sales,
installation and after-sales technical support, ensuring local service backing for customers.
According to Gurvinder Singh, Founder of Sharp Digital Prints, the company had been
evaluating the growing POD market before selecting the C-440. He noted that the press
offered the right combination of performance, print quality and affordability, while its
productivity matched the company’s operational requirements. The investment is expected
to help Sharp Digital Prints expand its range of short-run and customised printing services.
Anuj K. Gupta, Founder and Director of Edify Printech India, said the partnership addresses
the increasing demand for digital print-on-demand solutions in India. He added that the C-
440 enables commercial printers to adopt inkjet technology with the confidence of reliable
local technical support and service.
As demand for personalised printing, shorter production runs and faster turnaround times
continues to grow, the C-440 offers Indian printers an economical alternative to high-end
digital production systems. Edify Printech plans to expand installations of the press across
the country, enabling more print businesses to benefit from efficient, cost-effective inkjet
POD production while capitalising on emerging opportunities in the commercial printing and
publishing sectors. |
