Gorakhpur-based Om A to Z Printing has installed a Canon imagePRESS V770, becoming
the first print business in Purvanchal, a region spanning 32 districts across eastern Uttar
Pradesh including Gorakhpur, Varanasi, and Azamgarh, to operate Canon India's newly
launched digital colour production press.
The iPR V770, launched in India in May, is Canon's latest compact digital production press
designed specifically for the Indian market. It operates at speeds of 81 ppm and 77 ppm
across media from 52 gsm to 350 gsm, with support for labels, envelopes, textured papers,
and synthetics. A newly developed toner density management system delivers exceptional
clarity on small text, while a next-generation integrated air-assist tray ensures reliable
feeding of coated papers with fewer interruptions.
The V770 is the second Canon machine at Om A to Z Printing, joining a Canon
imagePROGRAF TM-5350 large-format printer already in operation. Owner Yogesh Pal said
the decision followed a visit to a nearby facility running the iPR V700, which gave him
confidence in the capabilities of the newer model. "After our adoption of the iPR V770, we
have the feeling that a new revolution in digital printing has begun in Gorakhpur city and
extensively around the Purvanchal region," he said.
Pal described the output quality as consistently impressive. "So far, whatever we produced
on this new Canon press is spectacular in quality, colours, and textures. Most of our
customers say 'wow' to every piece of print," he noted.
A one-stop commercial print shop serving customers across Purvanchal for over a decade,
Om A to Z produces visiting cards, wedding and invitation cards, brochures, catalogues,
stickers, labels, posters, and corporate items. Pal indicated that further Canon investments
are planned as the business continues to grow. |
