Avery Dennison has inaugurated a new, expanded Distribution Centre in Bengaluru,
reinforcing its commitment to strengthening customer support and supply chain capabilities
across India. More than twice the size of its previous facility, the new centre has been
established to meet rising demand for the company’s Labels, Intelligent Labels, Tapes,
Graphics and Reflective solutions.
The new facility is part of Avery Dennison’s strategy to scale infrastructure ahead of market
demand, enabling faster deliveries, improved reliability, and greater operational efficiency. It
also houses a dedicated Customer Experience Centre, where brand owners can explore the
company’s latest products, technologies and application innovations.
Strategically located with excellent connectivity to major transport corridors, the distribution
centre enables faster movement of goods across the country. Its location outside
Bengaluru’s city limits also allows uninterrupted logistics operations, helping the company
work towards achieving one-day deliveries within the city.
Commenting on the inauguration, Saurabh Agarwal, Vice President and General Manager,
South Asia, said, “India remains one of our fastest-growing and most strategic markets
globally. This investment goes beyond expanding warehousing capacity, it reinforces our
long-term commitment to the region. As customer demand for speed and reliability
accelerates, Avery Dennison is ensuring we do not just deliver world-class solutions, but
stand right beside our customers where they need us most.”
Hemant Tewari, Operations and Supply Chain Director, South Asia, explained, “Across the
materials and labeling industry, agile supply chain has become as important as product
quality itself, customers today expect consistency and reliability at a pace. This new facility is
a direct response to that shift. It’s not just about adding capacity, it’s about rethinking how we could serve our customers better”.
The new Bengaluru Distribution Centre underscores Avery Dennison’s long-term growth
strategy in India, providing a stronger foundation to support customers while expanding its
presence across key business segments. |
