Hyderabad-based V ADS Digital Printing has installed a Canon imagePRESS V800 as its
first Canon machine, strengthening its production capabilities across a specialised range of
premium print products including metallic cards, textured cards, transparent and PVC
stickers, and magazines.
The print shop was founded by Vivek Billa and his wife Mounika Billa, who together bring
over 15 years of industry experience to a business that is barely two years old. A team of
around six skilled staff handles printing and production across the facility, serving customers
from across Hyderabad and parts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
The iPR V800 operates at 80 pages per minute with a resolution of 2,400 x 2,400 dpi,
handling media from 52 gsm to 350 gsm across a wide range of substrates including covers,
envelopes, synthetics, coated papers, and long sheets up to 1,300 mm. Its compact footprint
belies its production capacity, making it well suited to a growing commercial print operation.
Vivek Billa described the press as a standout among digital production systems in the
Hyderabad market. "Its advanced features, capability, and user-friendliness make it
prominent among other digital presses commonly used by many commercial print shops in
and around Hyderabad city," he said, adding that the team values the consistent aftersales
support provided by Canon India.
Mounika Billa said customer response since installation has been encouraging. "Our
customers are impressed and elated with the prints which we currently produce on the newly
installed Canon digital colour production press," she said, noting that the business is still
exploring the full potential of the machine just two months into its operation.
The couple said they plan to expand both their machine portfolio and team in the near future
to meet growing demand for quality graphics and premium finished products. |
