Mumbai's Geeta Stationery & Printer has simultaneously installed two new Canon digital
production presses, the imagePRESS V770 colour production press and the imageFORCE
8186 monochrome press — significantly expanding the Andheri West print shop's colour,
monochrome, and media capabilities in a single strategic investment.
The two new presses join an existing Canon imagePRESS C710 already running at the
facility, reinforcing what proprietor Hiren Patel describes as a deliberate long-term
commitment to Canon technology. "Our recent purchase of the two new production engines
from Canon India is a strategic move for us to utilise the latest and most upgraded features
of Canon technology for another level of print quality and productivity," he said.
The iPR V770 is Canon's newly launched compact colour production press featuring a nextgeneration
integrated air-assist tray for reliable, uninterrupted feeding of coated papers,
newly developed toner density management for exceptional clarity on small text, and
enhanced colour output with more vivid reds and richer blues. The press operates at 81 ppm
and 77 ppm across media from 52 gsm to 350 gsm, handling labels, envelopes, textured
papers, and synthetics.
The iF 8186 complements the colour press with heavy-duty monochrome production
capability at speeds of up to 85 ppm, suited to high-volume office, copy room, and
commercial print jobs.
Patel said the combined capability of the two presses has opened new possibilities. "The
combined forces of the two new Canon production presses have built up our courage and
confidence of catering out-of-the-box graphic prints in vivid colours and sharp monochrome
textures," he said, adding that customer response has been enthusiastic.
A full-service print shop, Geeta Stationery & Printer handles corporate stationery, business
cards, catalogues, brochures, flyers, and inserts, alongside a comprehensive range of postpress
services. |
