Paperworld Middle East partners with FSC to champion responsible sourcing

Paperworld Middle East, the region’s leading trade show for paper and stationery products, has announced a strategic partnership with the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) ahead of its 15th edition, taking place from 13–15 October 2026 at Dubai World Trade Centre. The collaboration underscores the event’s commitment to responsible sourcing and supports the long-term transformation of the paper and stationery industry across the Middle East.

FSC, a recognised leader in sustainable forestry, promotes environmentally sound and socially beneficial forest management through its globally recognised certification system. The partnership will bring this expertise to the show’s international platform, creating opportunities for knowledge exchange and responsible procurement as businesses and public-sector organisations increasingly seek internationally recognised sustainability standards to strengthen supply chain transparency.

Sustainability will be embedded throughout the 2026 edition, with increased exposure for FSC-certified exhibitors and responsibly sourced products, including IPM, Main Paper and The Navigator Company.

Mark Palmer, Show Director, Paperworld Middle East, said sustainability is shifting “from aspiration to expectation” among exhibitors and buyers, and that the FSC partnership will help businesses source with greater confidence while accelerating responsible forestry practices across the region.

Helen Chepkemoi Too, Senior Director, Markets, FSC, said the partnership aims to strengthen awareness and uptake of responsibly sourced materials across the paper, stationery, gifting and promotional products sectors, supporting businesses and consumers in making choices that contribute to credible, long-term sourcing practices.
