Print China 2027 surpasses 150,000 sqm in booked exhibition space

Print China 2027 is gathering strong momentum, with organisers reporting that applications for exhibition space have surpassed 150,000 square metres. The response from equipment manufacturers, technology suppliers and printing industry solution providers is pushing the exhibition towards full capacity well ahead of its opening.

Scheduled for 12–16 April 2027 at the Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Centre in Dongguan, China, the event is already nearing full occupancy across its principal groundfloor halls. According to the organisers, the first floors of Halls 1, 2 and 3 are almost fully allocated, while only limited booth space remains in Halls 4–7. The remaining prime space is expected to be booked in the coming months.

The strong exhibitor response reinforces Print China’s position as a major international platform for the printing, packaging and publishing industries. The 2027 edition is expected to bring together global equipment manufacturers, Chinese technology companies, sustainable materials suppliers, packaging specialists and other solution providers.

To accommodate the growing demand and provide a more structured visitor experience, organisers are developing additional themed exhibition zones on the upper level of the venue. These areas are expected to cover integrated printing and packaging solutions, printing equipment, advanced materials, screen printing and industrial inkjet technologies.

Preparations are also progressing for a range of visitor and exhibitor services, with service partners being appointed for logistics, travel, venue operations and other support functions. Organisers are also preparing business-matching programmes, technical conferences, exhibitor seminars and integrated marketing activities to complement the exhibition floor.

The expanded conference and knowledge-sharing programme is expected to provide additional opportunities for technology exchange, product launches, networking and international business development.

With exhibition bookings already exceeding 150,000 square metres and demand continuing to build, Print China 2027 is shaping up to be the largest edition of the event so far. The scale of exhibitor interest highlights the continuing investment in printing and packaging technology and the growing importance of China as a global market for the industry.

Alongside exhibition preparations, the organisers are stepping up international promotion to attract exhibitors, buyers and industry professionals from key global markets. Promotional roadshows, conducted in cooperation with Global Print and Asia Print, have already reached Spain, Germany, Poland, Malaysia and Indonesia, engaging with printing associations, distributors, packaging companies and professional buyer groups. Further roadshows are planned in South Korea, Vietnam, Malaysia and selected Latin American countries.

The global campaign is also being supported by partnerships with specialist printing and packaging media across more than 20 countries and regions. Feature articles, interviews, exhibition previews and visitor information are being used to increase awareness among printers, packaging converters, distributors and technology buyers.

Digital communication is another key component, with regular updates on exhibitors, conferences, technologies and visitor programmes being shared through international social media platforms and professional online communities. An online pre-registration facility is also available to help international visitors plan their participation.

With strong exhibitor bookings and an expanding global promotional campaign, Print China 2027 is positioning itself as a major international meeting point for the printing, packaging and publishing industries, offering a platform for technology showcases, business networking and cross-border collaboration.
