Dscoop and the Foundation for Graphic Communication Education have announced the
2027 Dscoop Grant Programme, aimed at supporting students pursuing careers in graphic
communications, printing, packaging and related fields. The initiative builds on their
collaboration that began in 2025 to encourage the next generation of professionals in the
graphic arts industry.
Selected grant recipients will receive the opportunity to attend Dscoop Edge Charlotte,
scheduled for February 28–March 3, 2027. The flagship event will provide students with
exposure to the latest developments in digital print and large-format technologies, while
connecting them with industry professionals and the global Dscoop community.
The grant is open to students enrolled at junior level or above in graphic communications,
visual or design technology, print-focused programmes, as well as relevant four-year,
master’s or doctoral programmes. Students pursuing business administration may also
qualify if they have demonstrated involvement in the printing industry.
Selection will be based on academic performance, professional involvement in the printing
industry and a personal essay demonstrating the applicant’s aspirations and commitment to
a career in graphic communications.
The programme extends beyond attendance at Edge Charlotte. Dscoop describes the grant
as an ongoing initiative that can also support students’ future education, professional
development, learning opportunities and participation in subsequent Dscoop events.
Grant recipients who become part of the Dscoop community can benefit throughout the year
from online educational sessions, industry discussions and access to a global network of
print professionals.
The initiative reflects the growing emphasis within the digital printing industry on developing
skilled talent and connecting students with real-world opportunities. By combining financial
support with industry exposure and networking, the programme aims to help promising
students build stronger pathways into careers across commercial print, packaging, graphic
communications and digital production.
The deadline to submit an application is October 15, 2026.
