Mr Print boosts capacity with Konica Minolta AccurioPress C6100

Mr Print, a Delhi based designing and printing unit established in 2017 as a freelancing company, has installed a second Konica Minolta Accurio Press C6100.

The company was initially outsourcing all requirements of their own printing work. When they explored the outside market they decided to create an in-house facility. To be successful and maintain quality and efficient service they felt the need to invest in a new digital press. Going by market reviews and their requirement of quality printing they acquired their first Konica Minolta AccurioPress C6100 in 2020.

Vishal Sharma, owner of the company explains, “With the installation of the first press we were able to generate many walk-in customers. While targeting 10000 prints per day we achieved over 15000 daily prints last year. Naraina being a major hub of printing created this opportunity for us.”

“Since we were experiencing more demand than our capacity from the first press, we decided to add another AccurioPress C6100 of the same configuration as we were very satisfied with the quality of print and the service provided by Konica Minolta” adds Vishal.

Mr Print now has two colour digital presses and one monochrome and specialises in production of catalogues, magazines, packaging, labels and short-run books. Giving prime importance to quality, the company does a regular calibration of the press every day and for specific jobs separately if required. The self-calibration feature on the press has helped them maintain their quality.

Vishal has plans to expand their set-up in future with a roll-fed press for labels also from Konica Minolta and looks into the possibility of acquiring an MGI JetVarnish for digital embellishments and foiling for which they are currently outsourcing.
