Labelexpo India returns to India Expo Mart, Greater Noida from 10th November after missing the last edition in 2020 due to Covid-19. We preview some technologies presented at the show from some of the participants in the digital printing segment.

Digital label solutions from JETSCI (Hall No. 1 Stand C26)



JETSCI Global will be showcasing various versatile digital label printing solutions in this year’s Labelexpo. They will be running live demonstration of the new Colornovo Hybrid equipped with 7 Color Digital UV Inkjet Printing technology, the new version of dSpark (Digital Varnish & Cold foil) and Digital Label Sheetfed production press.

Also being launched is the new ColorAQUA Hybrid, Water based Digital Label production press ‘High Resolution’ variable data printing solution with online inspection system. The ‘Award -Winning’ Track and Trace solution -TRACESCI will also be demonstrated with samples.

Arrow-Digital to launch Arrowjet Aqua 330r Hybrid Pro (Hall No. 7 Stand N16)



Arrow-Digital will launch its State of the Art - ArrowJet Aqua 330r Hybrid Pro.

The ArrowJet Aqua 330r Hybrid Pro uses water-based pigment inks as a single-pass inkjet system. It utilizes Memjet Duraflex technology and prints in 1600 x1600 dpi at speeds of up to 45 meters per minute and a width of 12.27 inches with Inline Priming, Digital printing, and varnishing together. The DuraFlex user-replaceable printhead delivers increased speed, outstanding image quality, and longer life.

The Key features of the ArrowJet Aqua 330r Hybrid Pro are the Inline Varnish and Priming Options, which enables the users to print on off-the-shelf label stock. The water-based pigment Inks are Nestle Compliant, the new standard in Food & Pharma Industry.

The water-based varnish station helps abrasion and chemical resistance without lamination, thus way more sustainable and greener. It can print micro text with perfect sharpness, even in 2pt size.

HP demonstrates new business opportunities & innovations (Hall No. 3 Stand G18)



HP Indigo in collaboration with Technova Imaging Solutions will present new printing solutions for growing and differentiating labels and packaging business with the latest tools and innovations for top quality printing of labels, shrink sleeves, flexible packaging on its wide-ranging portfolio.

Live demonstrations of HP Indigo 6K Digital Press will feature from the entire HP label and packaging solutions portfolio including workflow, printing and converting. HP will also showcase a range of applications from worldwide converters transforming and growing business with HP Indigo’s Liquid Electrophotography (LEP)-based digital printing, demonstrating why brands worldwide and in all industries prefer HP Indigo label and packaging solutions.

The commercially available HP Indigo Pack Ready for Labels solution will also be displayed. The solution enables production of high-resistance labels for food, household, industrial and chemical applications. A range of breakthrough HP Indigo ElectroInks for labels and packaging is an additional highlight on the HP booth, with HP Indigo ElectroInk Silver. The ink supports a wide range of spot, metallic colors and is enabling new, high-value digital applications with cost-effective production.

HP SmartStream Collage offers unique designs by manipulating elements randomly for unlimited brand impact using logos and symbols, creating never before experienced packaging impact.

In the security zone, visitors will have an opportunity for an immersive experience in the first of its kind Security and Brand Protection zone. This area will showcase the most advanced and leading-edge security and brand protection solutions including new and exclusive covert serialization with HP Indigo ElectroInks Invisible, unique layered brand protection with micro-text, anti-copy/anti-counterfeiting marks, track and trace and much more. Visitors will also learn about HP Link technology which provides brand owners the ability to track each individual product unit through its entire lifecycle by creating and using a unique combination of marking technologies that create an adaptable and secure digital fingerprint.

HP is also offering hands-on demonstrations of the new high-performance, modular and scalable print server, as well as showcasing additional applications to automate production and maximize business opportunities from the unique cloud-based workflow and automation solution HP PrintOS including the new PrintOS Site Flow for Labels and Packaging, OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency) monitoring, EPM Analyzer and the new HP PrintOS Marketplace.

Konica Minolta to display AccurioLabel 230 digital press and finishing solutions (Hall No. 5 Stand K8)



Konica Minolta will showcase its AccurioLabel 230, Accurio Pro workflow for digital label production process, along with digital die cutting solution.

Also demonstrated will be the AccurioPro Label impose production workflow which is a simple make a ready tool for digital label production. For post printing of the label, digital die-cutting solution is all-in-one system that unwinds, laminates for durability, digitally die cuts, removes waste, slit and rewind, offering customers everything to professionally cut and finish labels.

Label converters would also be able to experience special label samples produced on newly launched Accuriolabel 400 equipment which includes the ability to expand applications with white toner, improved productivity with superfast print speeds of upto 39.9 meters per minute, as well as enhanced print quality.

Konica Minolta’s Intelligent Quality Care and the IQ-520 increases usability and automation with the AccurioLabel 400. Intelligent Quality Care enables real-time control of white toner opacity, colour stability control, as well as automatic calibration, density adjustments, and profile creation.

Samples of MGI JETvarnish 3D Web digital print enhancement press will also be displayed.

VINSAK to unleash full potential for label printing (Hall No. 7 Stand O5)



We will present the VINSAK USAR 430 (Modular Slitter Re-winder with semi rotary die-cut) including TIJ (Thermal Inkjet system) for variable data printing in a live demonstration.

VINSAK USAR is a solution for buyers looking for affordable but efficient slitter and re-winder with upgradable options of Die-Cutting, VDP and 100% inspection system. With all major components driven by servo motors, the equipment can run maximum up to 300 meters per minute.

Also on display will be the Table Top Re-winder, with acurate tension control settings which can be achieved with independent air operated unwind and rewind tension controls.

The VRL Series Roll lifter showcased is a portable roll lifter equipped with a safety brake for loading, unloading and transporting the rolls safely with the main focus to reduce and even eliminate fatigue and occupational injuries.

Cartes to exhibit Jet D-Screen with Weldon Celloplast (Hall No. 1 Stand C9)



Cartes Italy will exhibit along with its agent Weldon Celloplast Limited New Delhi. Cartes Jet D-Screen (JDS), Digital finishing technology, combined with its laser die-cutting and converting system for embellishing, finishing and die-cutting digitally printed labels.

It is specially designed to create labels embellished with multi-layer effects, in-register varnishing, intricate and thick tactile embossing, security applications, ultra-high precision foil printing and cast gold with fine detail enabling variable data handling.

The Cartes GEMINI series offers fully modular solutions for digital finishing for creating metal doming, high build varnish and Braille effects (Jet D-Screen), flexographic varnishing and printing, cast and cure, semi-rotary die-cutting and laser die-cutting and converting.

The Cartes GT 360 series in addition offers high productivity screen printing, hot stamping, cast gold/3D, hologram application, cut window removal, application of labels on labels, high and low embossing, flat die-cutting.
