The All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP) recently conducted its annual general
body meeting in Indore, where the new office bearers for the term 2023-2024 were elected
and announced.
Raghabendra N. Dutta Baruah from Seven Stars Publications Private Limited, Guwahati, has
been unanimously elected as the new President of the association. Baruah, a young and
enthusiastic leader, brings fresh ideas to the table.
Sharing his thoughts on taking over as the President of AIFMP, he said, “I’m really happy on
coming into the President’s post unopposed for 2023-24. The confidence reposed in me by
AIFMP members cannot be more than this, which will be my endeavour to live up to. We
have a new team full of experience and new ideas, looking forward to an eventful year with a
path-breaking PAMEX 2024 & revamped National Awards for Excellence in Printing (NAEP)
& Global Print Excellence Awards (GPEA) coming up in February, tuned to new processes
and categories.”
Umesha Nema from Pragati Graphics & Packaging Private Limited, Indore, has assumed the
role of Honorary General Secretary of AIFMP, while K. Rajendran from Vignesh Offset,
Chennai, is the new Honorary Treasurer.
Sudesh Kumar Gupta from Ambey Printing Press, Jammu, is the Vice President-North, and
S. Surjit Singh from Sur Printer, Imphal, has been elected as the Vice President-East.
Prakash Canser from National Printing Press, Mumbai, is now the Vice President-West. G
Raveendra Babu from Visakha Print House, Visakhapatnam, has been chosen as the Vice
President-South, and Ashwani Gulati from Advantage Offset, Delhi, is the new Honorary
Joint Secretary. Raveendra Joshi from United Multicolour Printers Private Limited will serve
as the Immediate Past President of the Federation.
