Screen withdraws from drupa

SCREEN Graphic Solutions Co., Ltd. (SCREEN GA) has decided to withdraw fromdrupa 2021 international printingmedia trade show. In a statement issued by the company it says “Screen Graphic Solutions Co., Ltd. (Screen GA) has decided not to take part in the drupa 2021 international printing/media trade show. We have made this decision based on sensible precautions after considering the current circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic and the growing opportunities for virtual experiences provided by new communications technologies”. . ....more

Sitma pulls out of drupa

Sitma, a participant at the show for over 40 years has decided to pull out of Drupa 2021 due to extraordinary circumstances and ongoing pandemic. The company issued a statement saying “Sitma will always remain present in this market alongside its customers and partners, but in a different way.Even if we are not physically in Dusseldorf, we will maintain proximity with all our stakeholders through innovative and renewed digital channels”. ....more

Printplus cancels participation in drupa 21

Printplus AG, Switzerland manufacturer of commercial software for printing companies and publishers, made the decision not to exhibit at drupa 2021. drupa 2021 cut down to 9 days – fewer visitors expected

drupa, the world's leading trade fair for printing technologies, has decided to reduce the duration of the trade fair from eleven to nine days for 2021. By doing so, it is responding to the wishes of the partner association VDMA (Printing and Paper Technology Trade Association) and many exhibitors to make the trade fair presentation more efficient and to concentrate the volume of visitors in a targeted manner. ....more


Manroland Sheetfed withdraws from drupa 2021

Manroland Sheetfed GmbH, the German printing press builder, announced today that it is pulling out of DRUPA, the printing industry’s leading exhibition, normally held every four years in Düsseldorf, Germany. “Exhibiting at DRUPA, or any other trade fair for that matter, makes absolutely no sense during the current Coronavirus pandemic” said Rafael Peñuela-Torres,Group Managing Director. ....more


Heidelberg pulls out of drupa 2021

Heidelberg, one of the largest participants, announced its withdrawal from the mega show drupa in April 2021. This follows after two other major companies, Xerox and Bobst pulled out last month. In a press release issued by Heidelberg, it said “Covid-19 has accelerated the move towards digital and local events.
