Pamex closes on note of grand success – next dates announced

Monotech Systems



Monotech Systems, a leading machine manufacturer & one-stop solution provider for the printing and packaging industries globally, exhibited a complete digital eco-system encompassingthe whole gamut of the latest advancements in printing, packaging and enhancement.

The display included a line-up of highly advanced RICOH digital production presses, viz. RICOH Pro C9200, RICOH Pro 8300S, RICOH Pro C7200X, and RICOH Pro 5310S.

From their own manufactured machines, the JETSCI KnowzzleJet was being demonstrated. The press is a highly versatile print-on-demand, high-speed monochrome inkjet web press for applications like books, transactional, direct mail, trans-promotional, security printing, bespoke articles.

The company also announced the launch of PixelFoil, a foiling solution designed specifically for screen printers. PixelFoil provides screen printers with the ability to produce stunning and intricate foiling effects on a wide range of substrates, including paper and plastic.

Tej Prakash Jain, MD of Monotech Systems said, “We are thrilled to introduce PixelFoil to the screenprintingindustry. With its advanced technology and user-friendly interface, PixelFoil is a game-changer for screen printers who want to add foiling effects to their designs. Monotech also used the occasion to celebrate 200 successful installations of Ricoh Digital Production Presses within 18 months.

Other products presented by Monotech included, TraceSci – Track & Trace Solution and the Canon imagePROGRAF TX-5300.

Nippon Color



Nippon Color, a complete solution provider for printing and packaging industry showcased multiple star products for commercial sheet-fed segment, Offset and Digital Printing press users.

In the offset segment, the company presented the Fujifilm ZX, a breakthrough process-less plate that delivers many new features to help offset printers integrate it into their production process flow. For flexo printers Nippon introduced the plate-making solution from Fujifilm Flenex FW, water-wash Flexo plates that provide the highest print quality at the fastest production times, while significantly lowering cost-in-use compared to thermal, solvent, or other water-wash technologies. Plate samples were on display along with C-Touch European build water-wash processor.

In the digital arena, being partners with Konica Minolta for the MGI range of solutions, they focussed on the 2D and 3D gloss effects on the Accuiorshine 3600, displayed at the Konica Minolta stand.

The also highlighted the Scree TruePress Jet UV Inkjet label press for label converters for which printed samples were exhibited.

Nippon Color sold six units of Cron CTCP to Punjab Kesari Group. Cron’s UV CTP products are designed to provide flexibility and quality for all offset printing applications.

OMET



OMET, designer and manufacturer of printing and converting machines for the narrow web industry, participated for the first time at Pamex 2023 where they promoted the XFlex X6.0 equipment for combination and Hybrid printing.

Pawandeep Sahni, of OMET India expressed, “We exhibited for the first time at PAMEX and are really happy with the response. Printers are coming to us with relevant questions and they are happy to find the printing solutions here.”

Suba Solutions



Suba Solutions offered a host of products at the show, including Stripping and Blanking Machine –Blankwiser, Stripping and Blanking Machine- Pin Type, Automatic Die Cutter Machine,Speciality V-Cut Window Patcher Machine and Carton Erecting Machine.

The company showcased its die-cutter, the Blankwiser 106, a high-speed stripping and blanking machine, with ease of programming and precise blanking operation, suitable for MetPET cartons, regular cartons, tags, and jobs with windows.

Vaidy of Suba Solutions says, “We launched our all new Lamifoil Ultra Flute Laminator at the Show. We have received huge response for this and other machines on showcase.”

Technova Imaging Systems



TechNova Imaging Systems Private Limited had a sizeable presence at Pamex with the dispay of Kratos (thermal zero-process, direct-on-press digital plate), ThermoStar T9 HS high-speed thermal platesetter, range of Green Chemicals, IPA reducing & eliminating fountain solutions, VOC-free washes &cleaners, aqueous & UV coatings, Konica Minolta AccurioPress C4080 Digital Colour Production Press and HP Indigo 6K narrow web digital press for labels (presented through a live virtual interaction directly from the Technova TOUCH Demo Center).

VINSAK



Vinsak displayed its new range of label finishing equipment that can print QR codes, high build varnish, and digital cold foiling at the expo.

Apart from live demos of the USAR (universal slitter and rewinder), useful for high-resolution security printing with customizable finishing solutions, Vinsak highlights included the ABG Digicon Series 3 digital finishing equipment capable of adding an even wider range of valuable finishes to labels, packaging and shrink sleeves. Digicon Series 3 systems are modular in design,so that they can be tailored to meet individual needs and create a clear,competitive advantage for any print business.

The company launched a new High Build System for label embellishment and tactile inkjet. This modular Inkjet system, driven by the latest print head technology, is available in print widths for varnish & white from 70 mm to 350 mm. It prints at a resolution of 720dpi x 720dpi with 3 grey levels at 60 mpm and by reducing the resolution in the print direction speeds of up to 100 mpm are possible.

Also on display was the VINSAK TTR,which has been developed to offer a robust tabletop re-winder with many featuresnormally found on larger and more expensive inspection/slitting equipment.

XEROX



Xerox India presented a range of solutions for multiple segments of the print industry.

The company demonstrated its flagship Iridesse production press which has the ability to print 10-colors. Also on display was the latest version of the Xerox Versant 280 with EFI Fiery FS400,vacuum feeders and a range of cyan, magenta and yellow fluorescent colorswhich can be printed in a single run.

In the entry level segment on show was the Xerox Primelink C9070 with the brilliance of vivid toners, including gold, silver, clear and white, and fluorescent – cyan, magenta, and yellow, with the ability to glow in the dark.

The Xerox Prime Link 9125 was available in the monochrome category.

Other products included XMPie software platform which drives more effective audience engagement with personalizing and automating campaigns—using print and digital media—to provide complete omni-channel consistency and the FreeFlow Core Digital Workflow Collection, which optimizes production and eliminates costly touch points throughout the value chain.

PAMEX 2024

The next edition of Pamex has been announced for 6-9 February 2024.
